Explaining to your parents that you draw "furrier" people
13 years ago
Makes for good dinner conversation.
Speaking of furriers, I really must apologise for the untimeliness regarding commissions. I've had bouts of art doubt and self-consciousness on top of moving all over the place and summer classes. But they're getting done for sure! I'm finally home, and once rhythm is found, there's no stopping me. I can't wait to show you all. Thank you so much for your patience. c:

Anyway no art doubt - you're an awesome.
No you.
when i go to conventions i say i'm going to "animal art" conventions
i never, ever want them to hear it called furry because i'm terrified that they will do a google search
I defined furry for them when I was a little younger and less aware of... THINGS. It's still an innocent hobby!
How did you find out that she had found out?
And after I found that sketchbook in my backpack with that page missing I knew she found it. We had an awkward, but ultimately hilarious conversation about it during the 4.25 hour drive to campus. She bought me a chocolate bar to make me feel better. It was great.
But oh god that is the worst feeling when you know somebody's been through your stuff and seen something like that.
