Intuision. . I think that's how it's spelled. . .

So my brother has a dream about a good friend being involved in a car accident a few weeks ago. After talking with my sister Rebecca, he managed to indeed get ahold of her number at last. Now it's been some years since Pat and friend Amy spoke. He called after having another dream of her telling him she was pregnant. Now while Amy was happy to hear and told him she wasn't pregnant, she was indeed involved in a car accident. . .about the same time his dream occured.
Speaking to my mom on this area, she had told me that it's not uncommon among us to have this intuision. Now this isn't some psychic power we possess. It's more of a sense that we have and it occurs when someone we know very well and care about usually kicks in. It comes from my mom side of the family too so we're not like first generation.
This isn't the first time either. Awhile back like years ago, my mom was to attend a dinner/lecture I believe at a local college. Yet for some reason she had mention, a voice or something in the back of her head kinda pulled strings and was wary of her tending. So instead she stayed home. Few hours later while browsing the news, a story appeared that rather stunned her and us as well. Turned out that someone had opened fire at a dinner/lecture hours earlier, injuring a few people before the guy was taken out. . .the same one my mom was to attend.
Weither it's a warning instinct or some slight extra ability we possess, I just find it interesting enough that we just happen to have it. In my case it's more of a Deja Vu' thing that does surround events or things to come. . . only downside to this as I have mentioned a few times before is that I have no recollection after "dreaming" about it. Only a key movement or word would trigger the effect and leave me confused and baffled.
I can't say fully for sure if it will progress into what my brother and mom has. . .least not yet.
Just something I still wonder about.

When I got up I had an over whemling urge of emergency that related to one of the males in our group. So I got dressed and rushed to his gf's place of work (
she worked at a 24 hr gas station). We chatted for a while, and she said she had the same feeling. As we talked I realized that he had left for Illionois on a job (moving someone from NJ to Illonois) the previous day.
Just before I leave she gets a call from a number she doesn't recognize. We both freeze. She answers it. It was a hospital just inside the border of the state. Her BF had been airlifted to the hospital when the moving truck over turned. The idiot that had gone with him had falling asleep behind the wheel. Woke, saw he was about to go off the road and jerked the wheel.
You NEVER jerk the wheel on a non-car. The potential to flip increases with size and weight distribution. It was a fully loaded moving van.
3 rolls later. Both were hospitalized. The other guy was in Intensive care for a week. My friend got out in three days. He got real lucky.
I've also had 'insight' into people and events that revolve around them. It is an instinct that I try to listen to as often as possible. People think I'm being judgemental. But its is a cross between expereince (realizing my instincts have pretty much always been right on the money), and instincts waving a red flag.
Some people are gifted (or cursed in some cases - depends on the perception and perspective of the individual). :) Welcome to the "club". ;) *chuckles*
Your friend's boyfriend was very lucky to survive that accident. Let's see. . group though unrelated, everyone grew aware of one another on a level unseen. . .check.
Odd feeling in the back of your mind, a sense of uneasiness as your friend's gf. . .check.
Yeah. . .the waving of the red flags or tugging of the strings. double check. All there. I don't think they should call you judgemental. . rather be grateful and releived for it. I mean. . who knows what could happen. Weither or not they choose to believe us could very well save their lives. . .if a risk of it was involved.
I would call it more of a minor. . well not curse just inconvience. Given some 'dreams' involved earthquakes with tore up southern CA a few days later.
That and standing there like deer to headlights utterly puzzled as to what occured.
