If you could wish for 3 things...
I am just curious about this one thing:
If you could wish for 3 things, and they would be granted, no matter how outrageous or wild, or how wide encompassing those wishes would be, with the only limitation being NOT wishing for more wishes ( this includes all sorts of tricks or loopholes in witch you could gain access to extra wishes )... What would you wish for?
Give me your thoughts on this topic.

2. Anything I want when I want
3. A better life
Anything you want when you want it is playing on the whole wishing for more wishes witch is forbidden under the pretext of this scenario.
And lastly, what constitutes a better life for you? Simply stating "a better life" could be anything as small as having an extra dollar... you'd be better off then without it... but I'm sure it wouldn't be enough. SO how would you define a better life?
Wish 2. Eternal health (immune to sickness and disease)
Wish 3. Mainlly, may life is spiraling down the drain and I want a fresh start.
Eternal health... would make you immune to illness and disease... but is the process of aging ( and ensuing death by old age ) a disease or a natural accoruance that wouldn't be encompassed by this wish?
And lastly you would want a fresh start... as in begin a new life ? Be somebody else somewhere else? And given the order in witch you made them... wouldn't you just loose the effects of the first 2 wishes by wishing to be somebody else at the last spot?
Wish 3. Nah, keep the life I have now, just have my future improved
I'm just curious what kind of wishes people would make given such power and weather they thought of the consequences their actions would have. I'm not here to make you take the right wish. Your wishes are yours to choose. Just curious if people thought them through.
2. Puerto Rican will for national union
3. Puerto Rican government decency
I mean don't get me wrong they are valid wishes, I'm not commenting here on the fact that they might be right or wrong. I'm just musing on weather it was the moral thing to do ( since you seem to have went with a more moral wish system then I had expected ).
Or Boricua for that matter. I can't speak or write any of that at all. XD

For now I'd say the current status opinions (outside of the electoral participation) are:
- US statehood at ca. 45%
- Current (colonial status) at ca. 30%
- Independence at ca. 20%
- Free Association (independence with political union--current status of Palau relative to the USA) at ca. 5%
Even if the US statehood were to have an inordinate majority (67% or more), the decision is not ultimately that of Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico; it would also require the approval of the US states. This I don't see likely to happen due to the xenophobic situation against hispanics that the rest of Americans have, as well as Puerto Rican politics likely being too liberal and justifying a big chunk of representation (thus the conservatives and the smaller US states are likely to object).
Finally, there's the part of there being a national identity of our own (this is defining 'nation' according to its sociological meaning, not as synonym of "sovereign State").
Also... immortality seems nice and good... but I wonder if it would truly be worth it... given that our world might end... and we might still be stuck on this rock when it does... if that happens, everybody dies, or sun burns out and you're still stuck here unable to die and be forever alone in the vastness of space with no means to get around... and no means to end your immortality... would that really be a good thing?
And maybe on the intelligence suggestion. However, what's to say wisdom and intelligence would lead to the right decision? A wise intelligent nazi would probably still fick things up. It depends on your own morals and wether they are flawed or not, as much as wisdom and intellegence. I know I've consistently misspelled that but autocorrect is useless. I apologise.
Like you said just having intelligence, wisdom and insight might not result in a good wish... but that's not the point. The point is to give you the means with witch to formulate your wish so that it gives you what you desire... regardless weather that desire is being a dragon or exterminating an entire race of people.
I view morality as being subjective, so even though I consider myself moral, I am hesitant to impede on other's morals and values, so long as they aren't hurting others. In short, I honestly don't know what I'd wish for. Once I was immortal, I guess I'd have as long as I wanted to decide.
It's a good discussion concept :). Are you going to indulge us on what you's wish for?
Not harming other people ( might want to extend that to living beings or the world as a whole ) is a good enough start in the direction to making a good wish.
But would you imply then that if you were given intelligence insight and wisdom it might change your way of thinking? change your moral compass? It might if you suddenly got to see the larger picture... see reality from another angle that you can't from this point? Could lead to something that seems like a very evil an bad wish you make now could end up being a good one in the larger scheme of existence... and viceversa with some apparently good wish you make on a smaller scale to have a bad overall effect.
Truly this opens up the door to so many possibilities that it's hard to fathom what you'd wish for... but if you are deadset on making a specific wish and not wanting it to blow up in your face because you formulated it wrongly at least these abilities would give you the chance to formulate it so that the end result will be according to your desire... weather that desire is ultimately a good or bad one... that remains to be seen. But I doubt you can just wish to be told what a good wish would be as that would be highly subjective...
Also, I actually share your later statement on this topic now... I honestly wouldn't know hat to wish for... The scale and power that would be given to you would kind of scare me... I don't think I'd be able to wish for anything... not right away anyways...
I guess a second wish would be some variant of everyone getting a reasonable chance to succeed and be content in life. Not that everyone would be equal and exactly the same... but just have a similar opportunity to succeed or fail, like everyone rich and successful, or even just content, has had. I would need to word it properly though, of course. But I guess that's the sentiment.
Though, of course, the more I think about it, the less relevant this all becomes. If I were actually in a universe where wishes can be granted, then that requires a universe which is completely different to the universe I am speculating in now. If magic exists... which it would have to, in order for such wishes to be granted... then that changes everything that I would want to wish for.
A company based around bringing back people who were Devoured and editing of body structure (think borderlands "New You" Stations)
And Ill save the third wish to fix any issues I find after the first two are granted
SO bringing back people who were devoured? that seems like a very limited instance of death ( basically death by either mechanical trauma ( chewing or mauling ) or asphyxiation ( as a result of being swallowed whole or being choked to death ) ) .
And honestly I am very mistrusting of the concept behind the New U stations... as they basically store your recorded memory and implant it in to a cloned body... but would that really be a new you? or just some new individual with the same memories and life experience as you? ( this varies of course if you believe there to be such thing as a sole that makes each individual unique or not ). What would happen if say the new U station produced 2 identical individuals ( though we presume there might be failsafe mechanisms in palce ot prevent more then 1 iteration of the same individual to be alive at any given time ). Would both individuals be you?
Would this truly be resurrection? or just a glorified cloning mechanism?
The second wish is more of a fail-safe to ensure you are always you when you have "re-spawned" Is that your soul will reattach to your new living body unless you wish to move on to the afterlife
And again keeping the third wish just in case there is a screw up >>
Governments might use this to create super soldiers... given the easy access to genetics as advanced as you described... I can kind of see your own angle when you made this wish... but just look how people could corrupt your wish to meet their own ends...
Your thoughts on this?
.. And then again there is always the third wish if all else fails.. I'm a simple dragon I guess.. Tell me how you would have set up the system I mentioned then.. Since Lol you would clearly be my adviser for my wishes
If it can read your mind and transfer data it can surely also alter it... this also ties in with just how corruptible the people running this company would be... But it would in effect give them control over the free will of all their clients... There'd be nothing stopping them from enslaving everybody...
Putting people in charge of this kind of technology is a recipe for disaster...
And lastly... why would you need an adviser? Could you trust an adviser? what proof you would have that an adviser would have your own well-being at heart when telling you what you should wish for? You have the power yourself why not just wish for the knowledge, insight and wisdom to be able to formulate these wishes yourself so that they couldn't backfire on you? You'd be sacrificing a wish but you'd be assured that the remaining 2 would be exactly that witch you'd desire...
I was mainly curious what people would wish for given such power and if they would have thought about the implications and consequences their wishes might have on the world and everybody else. ( what I exposeted above is just one particular scenario... there are many for each choice... I just give an individual example that shows how such a wish could go wrong...
2. Have a Dragon as pet/friend
3. Cleanse this world of anything that damages it greatly
If we presume that the wish bends the laws of physics to make a dragon ( the way we imagine them ) a viable organism, and also gives it the mental capacity to be friendly... and intelligent. if it was just one individual... don't you think news of it's existence would spread? And with that news would come people who would want such a unique organism for themselves? People would try to steal it from you...
And lastly... OH BOY... you do realize that HUMANS are one of the biggest LOCAL reasons for damaging the world ( there's external factors of course such as asteroids or solar flares ) But since those are external factors and you wished for cleansing the world itself of any sources of damage... well... congratulations... you just inadvertently ( I HOPE ) wished for a worldwide extinction of the Human race.
And technically if you put it the hard way i can very well use all 3 wishes for 1 of those to try and make it more possible and make it work a bit
1.Ill simply wish for the Tech to be available to construct the proper space ships that can fly inter stellar and also make use of the Mass Relays
2.Ill also wish for Mass Relays scattered fro the Galaxy and ofc one close to solar system
3. Well 1 wish left cos heck i presume even with our monkey brains will figure out how to use the tech we have at our disposal, so ill just wish for any actual aliens out there, to have this tech also. Yes ofc very likely for galactic warfare to start but that's the Races fault not sciences fault.
Ill think of those other 2 later cos yeh those require more minute thinking
And yes I'm sure people would be able to adapt to the tech eventually... if they wouldn't just use it to kill themselves in the process...
As for wish 3... you jsut wish that if there's other aliens out there that they would make use of the same tech as we would... fair enough... but what if... there are no aliens out there? It's a valid possibility... we don't know if there are any... defenetly haven't seen any signs of there being any, and your wishing the mass effect relays in to existence doesn't mean that the reapers, protheans and all the other races in that universe were brought along with them so they would simply exist without an origin or a creator ( well technically you'd be the creator )...
SO what if our galaxy is empty? You have the mass effect relays connecting various points in our galaxy ( similar to what is shown on the map in ge game ) but what if there's nothing there"? what if it's just dead worlds?
The best for witch you could hope for at that point is to bring humanity to the stars and avert a global extinction brought about by pollution, overpopulation, global warfare or the death of our sun... and others I can't think of at the time.
And if there were aliens out there, like you pointed out... chances are they wouldn't be peaceful... just like we might not be peaceful. It's a risk.
They are all valid wishes just like your first 3... I'm just trying to see if people think of the kind of consequences their wishes COULD have outside of the immediate benefits that they wish for.
And with the consequences, It seams to work exactly like the law of physics with "Every force has an equal and opposite reaction". So even choices work that way.
And i stated earlier that the Tech available to everyone will cause bad things to happen, but most of those are due to the choices and decisions made by those races (including us), so Science is not technically to blame. Even do yeah is it worth it ? The risk of more harm to be done then good ? I for one am for progress just like in Deus Ex 3, science should not be hindered, only its methods and reasons for it should be questioned,
DO you think we are ready to expand beyond our home-world when we can't even get along here? Amongst ourselves? How would we get along with possible aliens ( presuming they weren't just as bloodthirsty or more so then we are )?
Personally... I don't think we would be ready for that as a species... I'm all for progress too... but giving a cavemen a machine-gun ( and teaching him how to use it ) won't make him civilized... it will just make him a more dangerous savage...
And yes true enough, then how can you make something or someone educated, civil and peaceful ?
If we could embrace those concepts as well as a more focused study on what is morally right and morally wrong would go a long way to making our species and our lives a whole lot better.
And once we have fixed those problems... then I believe we would be ready to set our sight towards the stars... Let's hope w achieve thsoe ends B4 we destroy ourselves, some natural disaster kills us or the sun burns out....
Still the part with whats right and wrong is sadly something which changes and shifts . What was yesterday considered wrong can be tomorrow seen as good. Theres also things which mislead us, and im afraid its possible even those who should represent science can trick or fool us.
2. Gain all the super powers ever imagined.
3. Being able to always chose/create my own afterlife in any setting i wish.
All the superpowers ever imagined... I'm not going to comment on this because of how .... over the top this is... but I doubt it would make your life very pleasant in a world where everybody is so inferior... and you might just end up killing yourself with your own powers if not careful ( unless immortality and invincibility are also considered superpowers, witch bring their own set of problems ).
And the last wish I will simply disqualify because it's a play on the wishing for extra wishes that's not allowed under the pretense of this scenario ( unless you remove the word "always" from it ) you only get one shot at this under the rules of this scenario.
2: For me to have some kind of nack or deeper understanding of said magic. Not something huge, just enough to give me a headstart and make it worth my while to actually work at understanding it.
3: For dragons and other such mythical creatures to be real.
But magic in the common sens of the word ( mostly the fantasy one ) is far more encompassing then simple Polymorphism... it would give individuals power that they wouldn't even dream of.
I'm presuming of course that this doesn't happen innately and that all people would automatically have such powers... or you'd see the end of the world in a matter of houres after making this wish.
I'm presuming you mean that people still have to learn and study it and can only master it after a lifetime of study ( and you want a head-start in it... acceptable ).
But still... can people really be trusted with thatk ind of power? I imagine people would try to use it to further their own ends... or people who might do things with such power that might willingly or unwillingly cause suffering and death to others... There's so many ways in witch such a wish can be sued for evil and destructive pourpouces that I can't even begin to lsit them... SO I troully wonder if something like that would be a very good thing to happen... I don't doubt it's validity as a wish ( and it's ALMOST bordering on the whole wishing for mroe wishes thing sicne nothing short of magic/divine intervention could grant you these wishes to begin with... but for the porupouce of this scenario I'm gona assume the magic you envision wouldn't be as powerful as these 3 wishes you're given else they would be disqualified from the beginning ).
As for the last wish... wishing in to existence what is an infinite diversity of creatures that might or might not be viable under the laws of physics is a huge undertaking... also given that our world would still be as large as it was still had the same resources but suddenly having to accommodate thousands if not more new races each with god only knows how many individuals... that sounds like a natural disaster right there...
Also there's no telling how those would react to the dominant human population on this world... or how the human population would react to them...
But somehow I doubt it would be all "sunshine and rainbows" as they say...
Could you imagine how boring it would be if it all went smoothly? Perfect harmony and understanding, and not a rampaging monster in sight?
2. To have the mental capacity to have telekinesis and use it to my own will.
3. If the first does not apply, then I would wish for the ability to fly.
I'm hesitant to state that having a high mental capacity would give you telekinesis... might have just been easier to wish for yourself to have the ability to telekinetic move objects... But i'll presume that's what you meant ( though with wishes of such power you really have to be careful with your wording ).
SO what would your 3rd be if the first one was viable?
2. Specific, with a set of rules that would go along with the wish given at the specific time. I would be more specific, given, just to makes things simple I said it simple here.
3. If the first and second were viable, then I would wish for acceptance as to who I am so that none other would try and do "experimentation" upon me.
2: good luck
3: long life
technically I would wish this upon my love rather than myself, I really just want him to be happy and fullfilled
There's nothing particularly wrong with each individual wish except that they are rather generic. happy secure and well paying career by Who's standards? ( I presume your own so it's ok ).
Good luck... I guess this sparks up the discussion on weather luck actually exists but I presume you jsut mean a string of favorable events to the individual in question so I'm willing to accept that.
Long life Is ok and again I presume you mean that by your own standards of what a long life could be.
Good luck as in not severely bad luck such as horrible automobile accidents, loss of limbs, stroke, heart attack, similar medical issues, brain damage, etc, people around them don't get terrible problems or die too soon, house burning down, theft, etc.
and as far as a long life, just until neither of us can mentally remember anything lol :p probably about 80
sorry if I came off as selfish, I didn't mean it that way. Just figuring the wish as not all encompassing.
And that means you didn't read the fine print when being offered these wishes... If something like this happened... fi you were suddenly given this much power... you better pay attention to the regulations that come with it or you might end up destroying existence because of begin careless.
In your case you would have just improved the life of one individual... nothing wrong with that... but it just seemed like a waste of such potential brought about by not paying attention to what kind of power you actually had.
1: to be able to transform into my fursona whenever I feel like it (tho I think other people would hunt me ^^; )
2: a working portal device instead of using planes to travel to different locations in the world
3: money to someone that I really care for and hopefully means to see each other someday
Would be wiser to wish for a well implemented global teleportation system that replaces transportation by land air or sea that cannot be abused by evil people with bad intentions in mind. Would be better I think.
well implemented would be hard to get, considering big companies will try go grab the rights for the portal system and might divide on how many different zones you jump over and price along with that
but also ... having not evil people using this system would make it hard too unless they manage to make one portal for bagage only and with a scan that is able to detect illegal substances and send a note with the id card directly to the systems and policeforce at place
2. World peace and more equal distribution of wealth and resources of the Earth
3. More efficient rocket engines and technology for space exploration and getting humankind off this rock.
World peace can bring it's own set of problems if not implemented properly but at least it's a noble intention.
And space exploration... while it would be a nice thing to be able to travel the stars I wonder if it would be a good thing if we escaped the confines of this world in the state we are now... I think we , as a species need to mature a bit B4 we can look to the stars... if we can't even get along here on this world... what would w do if we had more? I think the result wouldn't be pretty...
By having unlimited energy supplies for everyone, there wouldn't be need to fight on oil, water and food etc.
But I'd be lying if having my own dragon wouldn't be the priority number one :)
Still as a species I think we have to learn to coexist here on our rock... before we seek to fling ourselves amongst the stars.
As form y wishes... honestly I wouldn't know what to wish for given such all encompassing wishes. I would want somehow make the world a better place. But formulating such wishes so that they do not backfire on you and screw everybody over... that's not easy.
2: Greater knowledge which can be used solely for the betterment of myself or my fellow man.
3: I'm not sure what my third wish could be. I'm an otherkin, but I don't think a dragon would quite fit in with the world as it is. I would love to have a high income sustainable lifestyle, but I despise when people are given those rights for free essentially. I'd wish for better technology, but this is something that should be attained through our awesome evolution of having larger brains... and somewhat coincides with wish two anyways.
How about I save wish three in case I need to fix something else unforeseen caused by wish 1 or 2.
Better be careful with your formulation... you or your fellow men... are we leaving the women out of the equation here? that sounds like a sexist statement to me...
And yea it's good to keep 1 as a backup... but it would be peaty sad if you had to sue wish 3 to undo everything you did with wish 1 and 2 and be back to square 1... would be rather demoralizing... I have seen that scenario in several movies/cartoons and i never liked it.
My fellow men* then. That's considered to be a gender-neutral word in English, and I agree that 'man' does specifically mean a male being (as does apparently everyone else). Mankind, however, does refer to all humans including genders and ethnicities. Don't worry, I'm not sexist. =p I'm anything but that.
I think it would work well as a learning experience. If the world truly can't be made a better place with that of instant gratification through wishing, then perhaps there truly is no hope left for our species.
2. The ability to control and alter reality and physics.
3. The ability to accomplish and excel at any task I set my mind to without fail.
In those cases, its more for what the result is, rather than the thrill of achieving something.
The clause is, anything I set my mind to. So only the ones I'm really serious about achieving. Otherwise, I generally don't try that hard enough to be bothered succeeding or not. XD
Otherwise I just woulda wrote 'To be the best at everything'.
You don't get any wishes. Have a nice day.
Should be entertaining.
2. Help my friends get ahead in life for a better future.
3. Have the power to change the weather so its not so hot out.
2. Huge advances in science (medicine and space exploration are top of my list) and making the roles of religions substantially smaller
3. Sustainable Earth (fewer people and less exploitation of Earth's resources)
Actually quite a selfish list, because anything I could wish for myself wouldn't make me happy in the end. Or I just lack imagination :)
ANd honestly if you basicly efficiently eliminated war from the world without screwing everybody over, then with no more need to invest anything in military development and having liminated the mentality of waring factions orcontries and ifghting over resorucesand space, it would be a good step towards alocationg theresources that thsoe institutions eat every year to more important things like science and development for civilians. ( not developing the next best weapon ). AN equally interesting wish would be, next to eliminating war, is to somehow eliminate crime without also taking away everybody's free will or enslaving them or what ever . If you could eliminate those 2 things... war and crime... well there's still be a lot of work to be done... because even if it would be impossible to make war or commit a crime, people's mentalities might still not change. le sigh. I think... it would be interesting if you could somehow limit every persone's greed. Like not eliminate the concept of greed. because without it there would be no drive to advance. But to put a cap on it. so that nobody would want to have more wealth then they could possibly actually use in a lifetime.
ANd finally if all those problems would be resolved... and humanity wouldn't be transformed to vegetablesi n the process... then I think they would actually focuse on the really important thins themselves. Like development of civilian science , food development, hopefully a world whide consensus to stop multyplying luike crazy so as to avoid hunger, or overpopulation... and then maybe even space exploration and colonization of new worlds but again without the wanton need to overpopulate and consume like an everhungry machine...
Gods it's a hell o al ot more complicated then putting it in to 3 short sentances thatm ight jsut backfire on you really baddly.
But I'm still trying for my point 1, just for fun:
Source of the problem is of course the human brain, so I would tweak that. Not necessarily anything radical. I'm thinking of bonobo/chimpanzee difference, the other species is very prone to violence and the other is not. War-like tendencies have likely helped humanity in the distant past, and those tendencies are now diminishing, but I would accelerate the process. I think eliminating wars, mass murders and senseless violence would be a good start, eliminating crime altogether sounds too totalitarian and would lead to other problems. "Crime" is often a subjective matter, violence/death to the human body less so. Some kind of aversion reaction would maybe work. For example, a man is unlikely to kick another man in the privates already, maybe that aversion could be extended
Greed.. that is a very difficult problem indeed. Taking out personal greed, but leaving the greed for your community? No, the communities (whatever they might be) would start to compete. A single instance of "greed", a hive mind basically? We wouldn't be humans anymore..
No. All an immortal wants, is to die. I wouldn't wish that curse on anyone.
I wouldn't want wealth either. Enough to get by, sure, but millions? No.
As for what I'd actually wish for...I don't know. I have desires, but nothing's...wish worthy? A lot of its nebulous and poorly defined.
And again, mega wealth just brings too much problems with it. Enough to live a comfortable life, with enough money to pay the bills, pay for food and healthcare and insurance and the like and have a bit left over for diversity or emergencies would be just enough realistically. Basically the equivalent off getting a salary each month for free. Would be more then enough IMO.
And I bumped in to the same problem... I honestly don't know what to wish for given such all encompassing wishes... I would want to try to make humanity and the world as a whole better somehow... but formulating a wish in such a way that it wouldn't screw the world over is... difficult.
On the immortality thing, I've read enough science fiction.
On the wealth thing, I agree. Enough to live how I currently do, without having to work if I so choose. I'd probably have a job anyway, to do when I'm bored with not-working.
And again, I agree. I've often (day)dreamed about what I'd do to fix the political climate if I had a time machine. I still haven't figured out how to solve the problem.
2. No skill limit (as in I can always get better)
3. My computer (both current and ones in the future) will never get any viruses, spyware, and things of that nature.
I wouldn't really wish for anything that affects more people then myself.
The 3rd is acceptable.
2. To reduce the gap between social classes and preventing it to widen any further.
3. To give freedom to whatever entity who gave me these 3 wishes.
... sure, I could get a magical rubber cube able of morphing into anything or any creature and that would obey to all of my commands... it sure would be a nice pet. X3~
Second wish is a bit sensitive if you ask me. For instance communism aimed to do the same thing. Reduce the difference between classes by making everybody equal... everybody equally miserable that is. SO better be careful with the formulation there or you might just screw everybody over really bad.
And i never said the source of these wishes is a living entity who was imprisoned in to this task somehow. You are probably acting on the concept of a genie in a bottle.
invincibility
and the ability to be where ever I wanted to, like teleporting or what ever
And ok let's presume that you somehow get the forever young wish bunched up with immortality. What then? what happens once humanity perishes? once our world dies? once our sun dies? What if we are never able to get off this rock... or what if we do and find there's nothing out there? no new place to visit... no habitable place? What hen when you are left alone? unable to die ? Is that such a good fate?
2nd wish: starting with 1€, my bank account balance must double everyday
3rd wish: being x time(days) and y sexual pleasure(arbitrary units), I want my private satisfaction to evolute according to the graph of (-3/x^2)+8
wish 2... you'd soon ahve more money then you could possibly need... and that would lead to inflation that owuld make all money useless rather quicklly because the rate of multiplication of money that you speak of is very quick. And then you would have nothing... congrats.
As for wish 3... it's been a while since I did mathematics... but what's the point of naming a variable ( Y in your case ) if you aren't actually going to use it?
Ironically, Day 0 sucks monkey nuts (negative infinity) and every day after that is 8 arbitrary units of sexual pleasure.
It'd be a lot better to simply ask for the equation of y = 8.
Or it might take 0.001 units... and in that case 8 might be an overdose and might put him in a coma or kill him...
doesn't matter if money looses all its power with my 2nd wish, humanity would be forced to enter in a primitive comunism status (don't confuse with modern comunism), obviusly the best political system ever for being so simple
regarding the last wish, dn't worry, I won't fap myself to death, just want to maximize the best form of pleasure humans know, and forget that mathematic expression, it was a stupid way to complicate things
And if you went to live in an other world... how would you go to a con? you'd need to be able to return here to do that but you didn't mention in your first wish that you'd want to be able to freely traverse between the 2 worlds... so one of two things would happen. either wish 2 would be invalid because you couldn't go to a con... or wish 1 would be invalid because by c0omming back you'd be forfeiting your chance to return to the fantasy world.
Lastly, a noble choice to sacrifice a wish for somebody else.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropic_principle
Oh wait, got to be careful to your formulation. YOu DID say any "OTHER" sentient life... so basicly they belive themselves to be the only incoruptable sentient life? yeah... well by thinking that aren't tey just admitting to be as corupt as everybody esle who wedged war?
I'd mostly want harmony between humans and our planet if not the universe.
Maybe something like pokémon being real haha.
