Y u no work with all scanners?
Goddammit! I really wanted to scan something using my big scanner today, but NOOOOooooOOOOO! Visioneer decided to not update the 9420 drivers for Win 7! It's essentially unusable in any OS older than VISTA!
I was tasked with scanning a poster base to use in this year's DJJD Rodeo since it would be cheaper to print using white paper instead of trimming down the stock... This had come up last year with a similar issue, but it was more about compromising and efficiency or something. Fortunately, I was prepared to do what I had wanted to do the previous year and found the scans I had done of the base since my printer scanner would not be able to fit a large format image for a proper scan.

I tried the 64-bit driver first then tried the 32. 32 wouldn't even start installation.
Then I stumbled upon a Microsoft support entry stating my scanner isn't compatible period.
It's just as well.
I now have a valid excuse to get a large format scanner hehehehe
