So... I glanced at the thing. So far as I can tell it's inferior in every way to Eka's chat. It's got less people and has a bunch of bad design decisions - like making a noise every time someone logs in or out, needing multiple clicks to PM or view people's profiles, and also not being able to view your own profile (which is kind of a big one, as it gives you no indication of when you've filled out forms in ways it doesn't like). So, all in all, I think it needs quite a bit of work. But still, a good first effort.

The quality of the people here is the big draw, and it's still a work-in-progress. If you like tons of clutter because there are a zillion people, many of them awful RPers, I guess Eka's is fine. Personally I like a more intimate environment of friends.

Also you can easily turn off the sound and you can open a channel to talk to a person privately without having to hit PM all the time.

Quality? Sorry, must have missed that one. I just noted that the IC/OOC room was full of nothing but one-liners and the pure IC room was empty. You can't claim your chat has better RPers unless you have standards for registration (which you don't). If you keep it open to all, a large majority of the people there will be awful. Thus, the more people you have, the more likely you are to find high-quality RPers. Certainly if you can't attract enough people to have ANYONE in the room for said high-quality RPers... your claim doesn't hold much weight.

Then take your shitty attitude somewhere else. We don't need elitist pricks strutting about like they own the place.

Seriously, any input is good input to me. From a technical and design standpoint, I know the chat is a piece of trash right now. I put a lot of work into it though, and your input, in addition to everyone else's input, will help me and the other administrators pinpoint our problems faster and fix them. So yes, thank you. :3
