One step closer to a theocracy

In a clear violation of the constitution, Missouri has made a law that forces religion on others and they call it, "religious freedom." This is abhorrent and unfortunate for the children and people of the state. Millions of dollars will be wasted defending this asinine law. The children that want to learn will be handicapped by those that claim to be offended by what is being taught. There is going to be a drop in scholastic achievers in that state. What is frightening is that there are a lot of people in other states that want the exact same thing! If we don't stop this now we will end up as a backwards third world country with nukes that can strike anywhere in the world.

The Founding Fathers should be...
I guess this is why I prefer Libertarians
Right now the country is showing some very interesting trends. We have state and lower legislatures passing socially-retarded bills into law while the population as a whole is trending away from conservative ideals. Don't get me wrong, it sucks for the small number of reasonable people living in these areas, but we're talking about states without any urban centers developed to the point of the North East and generally less than a dozen electoral votes to any one of them. Texas is the only backwards state worth anything to the democratic process, and with luck they'll get a wild hair up their ass and try to become a sovereign entity again.
The woods can pass whatever batshit rules they feel like; it doesn't effect most of us living in civilized society.
