To a person like me, I favorite FA/DA art for a reason. Often it's because this certain piece of art makes me think about alternate body proportion styles, line styles, cool looking color combinations... something that makes me think or something that's just hilarious or even just so I can remember a certain artist because I actually value and admire his/her vision. I make use of FA's favorites feature this way.
So when a submissions get deleted from my favorites, I loose unique visions, I loose artists; I loose culture. I don't blame the artist, I'm just frustrated that I can't look back on valuable history.

I hate the blank boxes that show up in your faves when someone deletes their submission :-/ the fact that you can't get rid of them is quite annoying
Yeah, I don't care FA. I really, REALLY don't.
No but for serious, it's aggravating to see those stupid boxes in my favorites list.
So I always make it a point to save everything I favorite -- "fave and save" as I call it. I strongly encourage you (and everyone else) to do something similar.
