Halloween and Autumn? But it's August!!!
Yes, I am aware it's August. But I'd like to start posting autumn ideas, decor, fun, and recipes soon. It takes some people, (myself included) a month or more for preparation.
So we are asking for you spookiest halloween decor, music, games, jokes, crafts, recipes, ETC.
I have plenty to share and many more in my sights. But I'd like to hear from you. Help us with what you know, ask around, maybe do some research of your own.
We appologize to our global members. We are aware for some of you Halloween has passed or you just don't celebrate it. But maybe you have some Autumn recipes or spooky ideas to share. We'd love to hear them.
Many thanks.

We did use the removed pumpkin flesh up in pumkin soup and pumkin scones. Bear in mind Halloween is at the end of spring going into summer for me.
I would like to know the attaraction of something called 'pumpkin pie' and maybe see a recipe or two. To me pumpkin has always been a savoury dish but I am told pumpkin pie is a sweet dish.
*hugs*
I will get you some good pumpkin pie recipies for sure. Maybe even some pumpkin muffins. Pumpkin can be sweet, salty and savory. I love baking the seeds after theyve soaked in brine and the pie is always messy and fun. :p
As for jokes and decorations, one year we stuffed some of my old clothes and boots with rags, adding a mask and some monster hand gloves; laying it next to the walk to the house. I donned similar attire and was on the other side. My wife sat in a rocking chair on our porch dressed in a black turtle neck sweater pulled up over her face; she could see through the knit; black hooded cape, gloves, pants and boots. She held a bowl of candy.
The kids would walk up to the house carefully watching the 'bodies' beside the walk. just as they reached the stairs she would move. They were not paying her much attention, thinking the bodies would do the moving. We lost more kids that year.
We did get some brave enough to come back for their treats though.
