It's really slow for everyone! I've heard some people say that they think it might be due to the new "SFW" button in the top right corner of the screen. It could be because the coding put into that button is bad, so the site is having to do a lot of work to check what "mode" you were in each time you go to a new page, as opposed to whatever way it checked the setting before. :/ That or they're definitely doing site work again--it'd be nice to get an update!

That makes sense, I saw that button but didn't think that it could have messed up the site. D: I cant even reply to everyone who replied to this its so bad XD

Haha, yeah, it is pretty awful! The worst part is, another artist I'm watching was doing a raffle and had/has to number all of the entries in the middle of this. I feel so bad for people in that situation! I hope it clears up soon.

I've been working in TAB mode. many many tabs.

I know in the past some FA staff has said cleaning out new email, journals, notes, can help speed up FA. but thats like if every one did it. and there are so many other resins FA may be slow.

Yep, it's slow. It's not just you. They added that stupid "SFW" toggle feature that nobody asked for at the top, and that seems to be the source of the problem. The site was running just fine before it was implemented. It's pretty safe to say whenever FA messes with the code, the site breaks.

I'm sure in a week or two the admins will dislike hearing of site speed and finally do something about it. :P

I made the mistake of trying to turn on SFW mode; now the web site is like dead slow form. I mean like i've interred the chroma of a black hole slow.

It's being miserably slow overall. It prolly IS the coding for the SFW button.

Yes it is... Sometimes it will even given me a message indicating that it is unavailable... There is some speculation on the forms that it had to do with re-coding of the site when they added the new SFW button in the top corner.
