Hello, all new watchers and thank you for joining the group! I would like to take this time to remind everyone that we still have this week's topic to be debated! Please see the link above.
If you all could take the time, i would highly appreciate it if you guys could advertise this group or advertise the most recent debate journal. i think things will start picking up here if we gain more folks in on the debates and actually get discussions going.
I would really like to see this page to start becoming more lively haha i mean we are on week 3 and still no debating! I can understand if you think you want to abstain from an argument but please remember it is not an ordinary argument, its intelligently debating the topic and your fellow members here know this too! So there really shouldn't be any problems. If, however, you do run into to someone who does not respect our groups rules please let me know and do not argue back to them. Send me a note here or on my main account.

Also, i need to take a poll on next weeks topic guys or its up to me and you may or may not like it. so here are your choices (found a decent list to choose from):
1.) Should the current U.S immigration laws be enforced in the united states?
2.) Should a just government provide health care to its citizens?
3.) Should hand held electronic devices be allowed while driving vehicles?
4.) Should the U.S consider a back up fuel source?
5.) Is animal testing humane?
6.) Should the free school breakfast program be changed?
7.) Should the government ban smoking in public?
8.) Should the government allow NASA private fundings?
9.) Should social security be privatized?
10.) Should junk food be banned from public schools?
11.) Should public schools and libraries continue to use filtering on their computers?
12.) Should Marijuana be legalized for medicinal purposes only?
13.) Should the "No Child left Behind act" be repealed?
