Not to burst your bubble, but the Asus G73 was the most expensive heap of garbage I've ever spent money on. I had nothing but issues with it since day one-- overheating, keyboard malfunctions, you name it, it had it. I hope yours isn't as bad. I had the g73jh.

I see now that it's not a g73 that youre looking at. it's just an Asus. HOPEFULLY the issues I had were just with that model. Regebeast had the same laptop as I did and it had the same issues lol

I totally understand you there. My G73 was awesome for like the first 8 months, then it really started to shit out on me, and for the past year and a half its been nothing but a huge pain in the ass. I didn't ever have the keyboard malfunctions, but my trackpad was terrible and caused the mouse cursor to jump everywhere across my screen. I had overheating issues with it, so I tore it apart and repasted it. After that, the graphics card shat out, and I spent $200 to replace it causing my fan to run at 100% 24/7. It didnt even last a week after getting the new graphics card in, and it died completely at work.

All the problems I've had with it were ridiculous and there was never any sign that anything was wrong in the beginning. Then it just died.
Ended up ordering that new one linked above a few days ago and it came in the mail yesterday. A laptop that was half the price and has so much more power in a smaller package.

I didn't know Rege had one, too! I had another friend with the same laptop and all of the same problems. Guess the G73's were just the bad eggs of the ROGs. Sad since they cost so damned much.

I guess I should've clarified as well XD I've had a G73 for the last few years, and mine died about the same time yours did. The one I linked is what I got as the replacement since i didnt have anything else other than a Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Yeah, the G73jh was actually discontinued from all the complaints and they replaced it with ANOTHER G73, which has the same damn problems HAHA. Just a horrible system that seems amazing on paper and not much else.
