Me and Conventions - somehow its not going together well XD
13 years ago
Hi there!
Wooot, my first journal. So i have tried out that option too (checkmark set on list - done).
Anyways, i am a really curious person, so i would love to go to a convetion someday. Just to get an idea of the atmosphere and maybe to meet some people, i only know from art and reading in chats and forums.
But somehow it does not work:
First of all, i am really feeling a bit scared of all those unknown people. I always feel uncomfortable to "poke" into groups of people, that mostly knew each other for a longer time and so on.
Second its the dates, when those conventions take place. I always got some other things to do then. And if i find a free day, they don't sell daytickets. Don't get me wrong, i completely understand that.
To make it short: Everybody, who reads this (no idea, if there is somebody) and goes to EF this year: Have a lot of fun! I think you will have a good time there.
For me maybe it is possible to attend next year or so.
Take care everybody and greetings
