Before i go further i must stress i am FINE. I was coming home from schools, and was stopped at the intersection of my neighborhood and covell, the cross street. A semi truck came over the hill and couldnt stop in time, and rear ended me with the corner of his bed at 45 miles an hour. I was forced to jump the curb to avoid hitting another car, and hit the retaining wall instead. I fractured a vertibrae but can still walk. My truck, a f-150 crew cab, saved my life. The towing hook, rated for 8000 pounds, was bent in half. The car is bent to the side, but still works. If i had been in anything smaller, i would have died.
