Granted that there wasn't any actual sex between a minor and an adult, the extreme graphic nature with penance in her child form may have been enough to gets the admin's attention. I don't think anyone would complain about your solution.

See, I don't get that. #1 the character has been more than established by now is not actually a cub, but a demon trapped in a cub body that goes around and punishes anyone who WOULD molest children. I sorta felt that was the point of any art work or comic she's ever appeared in. Bad things will happen to you if you try to do something sexual to a child because this little damn bear will ruin your day.

I can understand not being able to accept 'They look like a cub, but they're not'. Really, I can, because if they made exceptions, everyone's going to do it to try to get their cub art around the ban. So I get that part.

What I don't get is removing all the pages when only like one (I think, I haven't looked at the comic much) would really follow under the rule. Since merely drawing cubs isn't against the rules, the rest should have stayed up, right? I'd consider that an error on the admin's part.

Well my thing is, none of the pages actually had the "cub" engaging in sexual contact. I'm just one for situational. If it's rule thing, then it should actually fit the definition of what the rule would violate. But whatever Iguess.

sounds like someone is being a hater troll to you and decided to be a prick and bring in the admins on this. I would appeal the issue.

a cub type character who is not a cub, known to not be a cub, who is not having sex, but instead is assaulting a pedophile's sex organ, and is about to destroy him, is somehow against the AUP, yet all other pieces of penance as a bear cub doing the same thing is not a violation of the AUP, and is not pulled. So you don't think that it is possible for some hater troll to have caused this trouble? And I don't think all admins work the way you believe they do. Many are knee-jerk reaction types.

Well, that's one artist less on FA...

Objectively (and I believe legally) the character is cartoon of a non-human demon, in a non-human form. There is a back-story of the character, and the internal logic of your strip follows the established moral scenario of the character as a source of supernatural punishment for evil actions. In the best of all possible worlds, all the viewers would look at the whole context of the horror story as a morally instructive fantasy, and it would not be removed.

However, this is a world where some malicious viewers could deliberately take panels out of context and re-post them elsewhere for shock value. (Such as; on a shock-blog or a tabloid TV news-show.) (I've seen photos of a big city police chief holding up a copy of the underground comic "Young Lust", and implying that the title meant that store-keepers were selling it to children!)

A moderator could be removing the pages to protect the website from malicious viewers taking your art out of context. You could take that as a complement on how powerful your graphic arts storytelling is.

That's too bad to hear, regarding that the latest Penance comic got cancelled by the admins. I was actually liking how the story went so far.

I'm really not a fan of penance comics, but I'd hardly call it sexual content with a minor.

for one thing, Penance from my understanding isn't actually a toddler. she just appears as one. and secondly, castrating the guy and then slicing his achilles tendon doesn't really seem sexual to me. even if the wolf was hoping for something-something from the 'little girl'.
