It has been a while. Let's play catch-up.

Tomorrow marks two weeks that I got the surgery, and so far, so good. The wounds have healed up nicely, and I'm making progress with going all over the place. However, I am trying not to overexert myself. No worries about that, though. I'm careful.

I also got the hospital bill a few days ago. Almost $32,000, and that is for the stay alone. I shudder at the thought of what the full total will be. I could apply for medicaid, but I have to find lots of paperwork for that sort of thing. Later this week. Hopefully.

I have received lots of well-wishes from work. My boss actually came over and dropped off a card signed by the fellow workers at the office, which perked up my spirits. Also was my nephew's birthday Thursday, which also had me enjoying things.

Story writing has been sporadic. Thanks in part to  achilles (since he linked this interesting thing, which lead me to the gallery), I have been wandering my story archives and finding an open-ended intro that will lead me to an transformation story. That is, if I can get my mind out of writing the next part of the current story line.

And yes, I have begun playing Minecraft. I'm currently lost in a jungle. >.>

For the chatting, I know I haven't been on, but I have lost interest in chatting for now. I can take so much sitting before I have to either walk around or lie down. It's terrible. But I am making the effort of getting there. More or less. :\
