Why am I promoting it? Well for one, the story is really compelling, it just draws you in. You get attached to the characters, and I for one, couldn't stop reading. Two, Malaika is a friend of mine and this story is his life's work, it's very important to him. He's done such a wonderful job, and the writing flows well. Three, it's inspired by the Lion King, and honestly, come on! The LION KING! I LOVE THE LION KING! This book manages to let readers feel that connection they loved in the Lion King, but without copying or coming too closely to the story line. Just when you think things are predictable...BAM! It takes a turn! And the last reason *grins a little sheepishly* I have my name in the credits because I edited it, and I will also be creating the cover for it (currently it has no cover).
