RIP little bunneh

Last night our bunny Ash died. He will be very sorely missed. He was the first pet that I had all by myself that wasn't either someone else's, the family's or a fish.
Something must be going around here in London because as of writing this I have just learned another friend of mine and local furry artist's bunny has also passed away.
In both cases it started the same, sudden lethargy, then dead not long after. Friday night Ash was hoping around, having a good time eating his food and drinking water, yesterday he was lethargic, barely moving much, we brought him out to run around and he just sat there.
kesscat held him for a bit and we noticed his breathing was laboured, not much longer after that he passed away.
Hopefully no one else's bunnies are affected by whatever it was that happened. There's some speculation that it might be west nile virus, this would make sense, the weather has been rainy the past week and this week it's been so nice out we opened all the windows, a mosquito might have snug in, who knows.
He'll be missed.

Sad to hear about your first rabbit. :/ I never really had my own but took care of other people's a lot.
