Someone (can't remember who), was offering an adopt of a pink and white fawn with heart shaped spots that looked similar to my character Jewell. I was kind of annoyed, but I don't think anyone bought it anyway. :/

Some of the adopts I see are just... Why would people buy them?

Well I'm protective of mine because I spent money on the damn thing :U gettin commissions done of it, having a fursuit done, someone starts using my design I'm gonna be a lil ticked.

But artists are becoming greedy, they'll think everything up, even if they've never seen your design before, and they'll toss it up there for sale. Even sadder, people actually waste money on it. Who ever said it was their design to sell in the first place xD

Iunno, the whole adopt idea just sounds ridiculous to me, in my opinion if you're that desperate for money actually open your commissions.

I have spent money on mine, too. A few commissions, and I plan to get a suit of her some day. But you're getting a suit? Yay that'll be cute ^^

I kinda understand selling adopts that have TONS of art with them already. Like a full package of ref sheets, commissions, badges, etc. I've seen a few people selling their suit, and the character *with* it, all the badges, name of character, art commissions, and suit accessories. You're basically selling a whole identity. Cool, if you're going to adopt it as a sona, you're a new fur, whatever.

But those adopts that are templates filled in with boring designs are a different story. Meh.
