So yeah, just tonight I found out that one of my best internet buddies will be running the arcade at AWA (it's a fucking big con, they don't just have a "game room"), and as I've never met him in person, I'm planning on going up there and paaaaarty!

Anime Weekend Atlanta is the weekend of September 28th-30th, and it's a pretty big deal here in Georgia.
I've never been to an anime convention however, and most likely I won't be participating in a whole lot of it. But this is basically my convention fix between Megaplex and FWA, and it'll be at least a little furry, so I think it counts.
I really have no set plans right now other than "I am going," but I'll work that out soon enough, probably this weekend when I can take a break from classwork.

So right now, I'm gonna request off work and try to maybe gather some interest in seeing who might want to carpool up with me?
