Very misleading what you put. Nothing about Lovecraft is funny in any way, and the creators make me dissapointed. Anyway, enjoy the show! Hope you and those who watch it like it.

How can you say Anything by Lovecraft is not funny. Rats in the walls made me giggle and Shadow Over Innsmouth and the Silver key both have happy endings

Shadow over Innsmouth didn't really have a happy ending. I mean, unless you count turnining into one of hte things a happy ending. And the collection of stories I have doesn't include Silver Key and Rats in the Walls.

So, allow me to rephrase.

This seems a bit too consistently campy.

Well not only did he turn but he also went off to rescue his relative from an asylum and then they would return to Innsmouth and be part of a bigger family. I know for me that would be a dream come true. Silver Key was a great story. and wonderful for any dreamer that has felt lost in this world. you should find it. Also Lovecraft did write some comedy. i have none of it in any of my collections but it is online. there are a few archives of his complete works (and one was exhaustive in the insane with even his ghost writing...) I will have to find them all again though since ALL MY BOOKMARKS DIED WHEN FIREFOX UPDATED ITSELF!

anyway yes this anime is Very Campy and fun. and has so many references to his works and geek culture it is just hilarious.

Maybe I will give it a shot, then. But I'm not at home right now. Thanks for telling me. :)
