Not where I want to be, yet.

You might have noticed I'm writing again after an extended absence, said absence being what scientists tell me is called being employed. Said experiment in employment didn't take well, and as a result have the chance to write again. Still it is slow going, not in the creative shape I was earlier in the year. In any case hopefully this means more work out of me sooner rather than later. That or I get another job, but what are the chances of that?

...While glad to see your writings again, I'm sorry that employment didn't take.

I find it helps to write a little bit each day, even if it's just a couple sentences or a single scene. If you're not trying to do the whole story at once you're less pressured and you have more time to go back and revise or change stuff if you have new ideas or realize you don't like the direction it's going. At least that's what I do, though truthfully I'm also having some scheduling issues right now.

OP
Back around march I had set a 250 words per day mark, I could always right more but that was minimum. Usually lead to a chapter being done in a little over a week. I'm trying to get back to that.

Ergh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll find something new and better soon, even if it's nice to see you write more. ;)
