I've been doing some thinking the past few days and I'm considering, sometime in the next few months after I turn 18, of making myself a paypal account (or similar) and opening up for commissions of some kind. Now, before I would do something like that I want to know if there is a market even for the kind of stuff I create. The reason I'm asking this and looking for assurance is because last year I made an attempt to sell some prints of my fractal work...and got a ton of "oh those are cool I totally want one!" from people but only one actual buyer, with a total profit of a measly $15. So therefore, if I'm going to go through the trouble of making a paypal or paypal-esque service account, advertizing myself for commissions (fractal and or traditional), and getting all psyched up for this, I want to know there are people who are interested in purchasing what I have to offer, and not just interested in it because it looks cool.
