Tattoos and stuff
13 years ago
Ho there friends!
I will try to keep this from becoming a wall of text. ^^
I've been interested in getting a tattoo for a few years now, and yesterday a few people at my workplace was discussing tattoos and showing theirs off.
So I brought it up that I wanted to get one as well, but since they know (or at least heard) that I can draw they said I need to design my own tattoo.
So this got me thinking what the heck I would draw that would later be tattooed onto me, and no I don't think tattooing a cock would be a very good idea. ^^;
My question is therefor what you people think I should draw as a tattoo design.
It should fit with my art style, and I don't want it to be skulls'n snakes or the price for noodles in Chinese. X3
I'm fine with it being silly or toony, just not something embarrassing to show off to my parents later. <:3
If any other artistically able people read this, please let me know what you would do if you would or have gotten a tattoo that you drew yourself.
I'm looking forward to hearing ideas from you people. :O3

Get a Rebel Insignia on your right arm
when you meet a nerdy girl, take off your shirt and flex those muscles for her and say
LIGHT SIDE
DARK SIDE
YOU GOTTA CHOOSE!!!
When you have nothing else, not even the clothes you own it will be on you. When you live to 100 year old it will still be a part of you. Even when you die it will still define your body. Don't take this lightly, I know too many people with tattoos they regret, simply because years later it doesn't mean the same to them. When I ask people about why they want that tattoo I tell them to explain it as you'll explain it to your grand kids, because it needs to be something that still has meaning then.
My advice; choose something that defines you, or shaped/guided you in life. Years later it will still be a sign of that time in your life, maybe getting more tattoos that define a later time. My tattoos are three portraits of the three lives that shaped who I was as I became an adult. The metaphor they are in my faith has so much meaning that my fursona has the tattoos in the same place, but of the three symbols my tattoos represent in Buddhism: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5940251/
No matter who I become or how I change my tattoos will always remind me of how I started my life, and the dual meaning of the text will always define the largest part of who I am. Make your tattoo something meaningful that is unquestionably YOU.
I have no particular faith or philosophy that I believe in. (I'm an atheist and skeptic)
So unless I tattoo Steven Hawking's wheelchair or Carl Sagan's haircut on me I have nothing that will really be important to me in a lifetime. X3
The things I like today are things I might hate tomorrow.
And personally I don't dig trying to be deep and philosophical, I try to take everything in life for what it is and with a sense of humor. :P
Also pretty much everything would need to go for him to become SFW. ^^;
Not that big of a fan of balloons and bubbles, in fact I'm terrified of balloon IRL so people would prolly wonder why I would tattoo that. :P
Thanks for the input tho! ^^
I particularly like that mention of the nozzle.
While I'm not really into pool toys or a balloonie I can see the appeal of it, and will give it some further thought.
By the way, welcome back?
