this actually has nothing to do with culinary arts, benihana, or the sp-12. or the first journal with this name.
i was going to write up this baller ass con report about fa:u where i'd be like yea man FA:U WAS THE BEST CON OF THE PAST YEAR FOR ME but there's not much point, really.

so, then what. i guess i just wanted to say THANK YOU, everyone. thanks for the good times, thanks for the good laughs, thanks for drinking all the wine. thanks for being awesome, thanks for keeping me company, thanks for sharing drinks with me, thanks for the hugs and dancing around in the halls and the chance to suit. thanks to fa:u for the $10 they donated to the charity for me, thanks to the hotel for being so cool, thanks to my awesome roomies for making it a great con to remember.
i left fa:u with a great buzz. i've had a relatively rough year by my standards (not complaining, just a fact, really) and fa:u was what I really needed to refresh and recharge. i left in such a good mood.
i'd name names but i could not possibly remember every detail right now and there were so many people who equally contributed to a great time that I would really feel bad leaving folks out and besides i fucking can't write lists, it's a disorder, please don't ask me to.

I heard a lot of "This was the best FA:U" reports, enough to make me think they really stepped up their game this year. Nice.
