My best idea for a mascot is a blood hound displaying the symbol of the Red Cross on an armband, bandanna, or some other article of clothing. What were the ideas you came up with? ^_^

A black widow with a name like Mary Sue. She is a vegitarian nurse and she is now devoted to making blood drives because her hubby died in an accident and the hospital didn't have the blood to save him.

I was also thinking of a golden retrevier or another american dog breed in a WWII nurse outfit because that is when giving blood really really started to matter. And when the red cross went all out. And that is also when America was kind of awesome. :/

Both sound like wonderful ideas; I'm not sure how well people would take to the black widow, cus most I meet on here are a slight bit arachnophobia, but I really like the american dog breed one, cus it has all that history and sounds like something others would like to connect with. :3
