If there was no malaka, the FA community would grind to a halt and theyre computers would by dead. Malaka owns my ass now, seeing as this is the *counts on his fingers* 3rd or 4th time he has bailed me out of computer troubles and walked me through fixing that i thought was unfixable. So wheever you see malaka, everybody thats gotten help from him, thanks him, he diserves it.lol
In all seriousness though, thank the friends that I have that gave time and put up with my negitiveness to help my get this thing back to running. had to ask a few folks in YIM luckly had mobius and malaka there to help that night. Although it BSODed on me yesturday morning, it has now returned to normal and hasnt jumped out of line yet. Thankfully.
Also a word of warning if you hadnt seen it yet. there is a virus going around thas acts like a anitvirus called, Anti Virus 2008. and it tries to automatically install on your computer, and the only way to avoid it is to try to exit out of the tab your on or whatever, or close out the whole page. i dont know the full extent of it, but I know its probably bad. Just thought id let everyone know before someone opens it

But yeah man, I'm glad I could help. Like I've said a million times, I like helping you! You ever need a helping paw on anything, big, small, just nudge me or send an offline message.
Thou I do think there is still something wrong with your PC. The BSODs and most of the CD's you burn being corrupt.. It's either your CDRW or your mainboard is playing up; shorting out, damaged, overheating. etc. And I cant see a dodgey CDRW being to blame for BSODs. Can't be your ram, seeing you got new (Doubt you bought two sets of DOA ram) and you have a new harddrive.. All I can pin it to is your mainboard.
But yeah, you are best getting the cheap new parts and going from there. 4400+, board and a 8600GT for $250~ is a decent budget rig. Sure you ain't going to be playing Crysis on very high at 50fps (lol like anyone can), but it will run circles around what you got now. Also get yourself a DVDRW for $35. Then I can hook you up with Vista and what not :D
Also whoever has been saying that downloaded OS's are buggy and don't work.. They are obviously doing something wrong! An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer, eg DELL, Acer, HP etc)Windows does not need "activating", so there is no need for cracks, hacks or dodgey by-passes. It's really just.. install.. enter a serial.. and thats it. All OEM Windows have been this way. Manufacturers don't want to phone up Microsoft on every install they do :P
And what do you mean -now- ? I always owned your ass ahaha <3
The whole "Downloaded OS's are buggy" thing is overplayed to combat piracy; Although a few of the tampered disks can be unstable, normally the biggest problem is Microsoft updating their Genuine advantage program, and disabling some download features.
*Puts on white hat*
Still it's best to get a correctly licensed, legitimate version of windows, and if you're not going to do that, at least don't pay for a dodgy copy from online auction/CD Copying rings - it's those guys that put little computer shops out of business by undercutting their prices because they don't pay for Windows.
