Rant...

I can't, can't, CAN'T stand art theft! It's my ultimate pet peeve!
Those people make me sick to the pit of my stomach... D< I have absolutely no respect for them.
You people are just crying for undeserved attention. Do you even realize how disrespectful it is to take someone else's work that they put their time and effort? It's rude! It's pitiful! It's wrong! And it only reflects poorly on yourself!
Just because you put something else that another person's made does not and will never make you an artist, and I, personally, will never count them as such. If you want deserved respect, make the goddamn thing yourself!
Don't people ever fuckin' read the description when something says NOT to repost? Or are they so blind and retarded that they just skip it? I'm believing it's the latter.
I HATE it when my work gets reposted! >A< Especially when I say not to and they can't even fuckin' read, they don't even simply ask first, they ignore my policy on my front page about using my work... AND THEY FUCKIN' DO IT ANYWAY!
If that's not art theft, then tell me what is... The basic concept still applies.
When I submit stuff for people, I trust that they only either fave or comment it (or both). Hell, I don't even mind if they want to save it for their personal private copy for a desktop background or whatever... It's having it posted elsewhere publicly I can't tolerate!
And yes, I will report the very second I see it. The only warning you get is if I'd already said specifically not to.
Goddamn! I've never been in a more pissed off mood!
I'm sorry, but until I calm down, I'm closing everything on art stats (trades, collabs, commissions, etc.)... The only exception I'm leaving alone is gift art, and those are strictly given to those I choose to. |':
And from now on, anyone caught with my work is banned from ever requesting anything from me...
I don't care if I'm hated for this either... Anyone who is can just suck a horse's dick for all I care.
And to those who respect my wishes, you're awesome and I love you...
To art thieves... Thank you for ruining my day from the very start and single-handedly distrusting you for the rest of your pathetic and sorry life... I hate you.

If a commissioner commissions you now, pays for the pic and you finish it, they are not allowed to upload it to their gallery?
Did you mention that somewhere, that is not on the pic you upload in the end? Like in the commissions journal itself?
Sometimes people cannot read x _ x
And this is not supposed to criticize you, am just interested o_o
And the very least he could've done was ask if he could repost instead of rudely taking it and reposting it anyway.
I find that there's just no excuse for what he did, which is why I'm so pissed off at him. |':
And I know you're right about the whole "you'll be lucky to be credited" because I've faced it before (I guess this is why I'm so highly sensitive over this whole thing). Someone did the same thing, credit me in descriptions and such, but when people said, "you did this great!" and such, nothing was said to correct it and all they said was "thanks!" without a mention... Soon noticed my credit was edited out after that. |':
Stuff like that really hurts and sticks with you... I've kept requests primarily closed since. And I guess commissions are just the same.
I've even stated on the piece's description itself, "do not repost!" He has a whole list of rules that use "do not" a lot, so he obviously knows what that means. So how much clearer can that be? If he wanted to post it up so bad, the very least he could've done was just ask if he could or not if he was so blind to what my own personal policy is.
As for credit... Just compare both his and mine. Who's gotten more appreciation from it? To my experience, not many people even bother with the description and only look at the picture. Call me selfish, but that's one reason why I don't like it when people post things they, themselves, never did to contribute one bit to.
Other then you know PAYING you to draw for them.
Second, contributing meaning, to actually help make it. As in actually working on it, not sitting on his ass waiting for everything to be done.
Third, you can stop "speaking" for me without fully understanding my point of view. Go be a white knight somewhere else.
A simple note/email/comment could have cleared this up easily. Maybe you should have tried contacting him before you embarrassed yourself with an unnecessary and wrong rant.
And if someone who expects me to respect his own set of rules and not even consider mine is very unfair and personally, not worth my business at all.
And even if he didn't see it, there was no permission asked nor given for him to do so. Wouldn't it be common courtesy to at least make sure to be able to instead of blindly assuming?
And if I happen to lose a watcher, then they never really wanted to watch me in the first place and were only in it for what they wanted. And if they didn't, it's an unwatch. I've faced it before from denying requests (regardless of always being closed to them) to not doing a watch-back (I only watch people for their work and/or as a friend)... Besides, it doesn't really matter anymore. I'm closing my FA on my work if I'm expected to follow "the norm" (just because other commissioners sometimes allows reposts for a promotion, I'm expected to feel the same--when I simply don't; I believe in other ways of such) when the rules still holds in my favor.
"The artist(s) reserve the right to revoke posting permission at any time and for any reason."
