So....school...why?

So as some of you may or may not know I have two daughters ((11 and 6)). And ofcourse the school sends out all KINDS of stuff. Buy, Buy, Buy. Which I'm not complaining about, but could they atleast space it out just a bit? I've got pictures, fund raiser, field trip, etc all within 3 weeks. And they usually aren't cheap. Blarghhh. Just thought anyone else with kiddos might feel my pain. Haha.
My orchestra teacher did a nice thing for us: we had multiple fundraisers to help us raise the money over the course of the school year. Lots of people were able to pay over half of their tour fees that way.
