You know something that aggravates me...?

The fact I can never seem to get my drawings as polished looking as other artists on this site.
Yeah, yeah, there's a reason that they're better than me, but still. No matter how delicate I try to be, I can never make my lines as smooth as other people. No matter how anal I am about how/where to draw the shadows, it never looks as natural as other artists' attempts. And the thing about it is that I've always had a better eye for art than a hand, so I can look at their art and see glimpses of how they do what they do, but when I try to recreate it or adjust it for my own purposes I fall short.
What is it that's missing? What is it about my art style that feels incomplete to me? Is it my anatomy? How I draw my lines? The shapes I use? As critical as my eye may be, when I look at my art I can tell something is off, something just doesn't look good, yet I can't for the life of me figure out what. :\
