A-MEN!

For a guy with bucked teeth, he could sure belt out all those great songs.

I miss him daily. :(

He was asked once about why he, having the money he never fixed his teeth. he said that he was afraid that by doing so It might change the tone of his voice and loose that gift over his image. He truly cared about his profession.

I can believe that would have totally changed his voice. Glad he never went thru with it. :)

Heard on a documentary about him that he, Rod Stewart, and another singer (forget which one) were thinking about getting together and calling themselves "Ears, Hair and Teeth" XD

I know who the teeth was gonna be!

Another reason is that it could have changed his image in such a way as to make him less singular....

A good example of this is the lead actress from "Dirty Dancing" and "Ferris Beuller's Day Off," who went in for a "nose-job" in the early 1990's and it negatively affected her career because nobody recognized her.
