Astral plane (geeky stuff)
This was weird. Like, really weird, but no worse than my usual meditations. I'm still on the fence about whether I believe in the astral plane or not. It's a fine line. . .
Anyway, I was trying to meditate, but didn't think I'd get very far because of all the noise in the background (it was midday). So you can imagine that I was sort of shocked when I felt like there was someone close to me. You know, like close-close. Like, within a couple of feet close. And it felt as though they were tugging on my arms - well, not exactly felt, but more like I was aware of the feeling. So then I was in a sort of third-person perspective looking at myself and this stranger, and it was pulling me out of what looked like a liquid wall. Back in first-person, I pondered whether this being was male or female - at first I had taken it for female, but then noted masculine characteristics. Let me start off with a physical description: he (I don't know, I'll call it that) had hair that was red - not ginger-red, but actual red - and fair skin (or at least it looked fair in comparison to the fellow's hair) and eyes of a nondescript color. I found that somehow I did not feel timid at all around this creature who seemed to barely retain its form. He seemed to be a manifestation of all the things I had ever wanted or wanted to be.
We were in my white hall. I don't remember the exact words spoken, but he told me that if I would go outside and see that rainbow that I could explore my past lives, color by color, flavor by flavor. All in all, he was not mean, but he was not nice (though a bit mischievous in character). And so I let him lead me out there, hand-in-hand, and back in my own body, I could feel my hand moving to accomodate someone else's, and I'd never been so aware of the mechanics of my own hand in my life. So, as I was saying, we went outside, and all looked perfect and beautiful and all that rot, and there was a rainbow set suspiciously close to the ground. An oak tree that was almost black - from what I do not know - was at the far right of my vision, and the red-haired fellow said that if I climbed up there, I'd be able to reach the rainbow.
And once I got up there the thing was more reminiscent of a bridge than a rainbow (for which I have Norse mythology to thank), but it still looked liquid and bright, so I sort of dived in, and here is what I saw:
In Red, I was in a dark room with only one window, and I could see searchlights. Outside, dozens of pale-faced soldiers marched in formation.
In Orange, there was a woman sitting on the floor of a kitchen or some other tiled-place staring up at me. A man helped her up. All I really remember besides that is the fact that I had green eyes(?).
I didn't get any farther. For some reason, I was frightened, though not by anything in particular.
