GoPro Cams at fur cons

At the beginning of this year (2012) BBF and almost all of you furries out there, started bringing gopro cams to film this year's fur conventions. Most notably at Confuzzled, Anthrocon, Le fur D'effiel, Breda Comic-Con, Furry Connection North, and so on.
The way I see it, it increases possibilities of interesting scenes that most of us really want to see.

But the question is "Why is that?" and who got the idea to do so in the beginning of 2012?

The fun thing about the cameras is you get a 1st person perspective of suiters during events like fursuit games, or just out and about in the halls having fun.
I used my go Pro at FC, FF, WTF, FE... and honestly some of the videos are amazing like Ice Skating at FC and being able to film the other suiters more easily and not worring about dropping your camera or getting any water on it :P OR just socializing with suiters and new comers getting the funny convo's and goofiness you don't always clue into.
I honestly unsure who started it first, but due to the camera being affordable I know you will see more and more suiters with them.
And at other times scenes from a gopro cam can be quite sexy, but thats just my opinion.
