A La "The Professor from Futurama"
So my BIG performance Tuesday evening was a complete success. One of the hardest pieces I have EVER done. It took many many MANY hours in the studio and literal blood sweat and tears..my artistic Director is God and is not shy about reminding me that...Ahhh..nice to be challenged for a change.
So as you can see, I seem pretty happy. That is because things are FINALLY changing for the better. I see my Dr Tomorrow and I will be starting the process of getting off the Pain medication from my post op complications form my brain surgery.
NO idea what happened..but the pain just sorta..stopped. It still gets a little cranky with weather, but hell it;s not even CLOSE to as bad (YAY) maybe it;s just because I am a Month away from my 2 year mark..maybe it just needed time to heal. Maybe all the shit I went through over the last 2 years finally just added up and fixed it, who knows I'm not questioning it, just going on with my life FINALLY.
That means YES I WILL FINALLY be finishing those COMMISSIONS! as well as taking new ones and going back to the Old way I used to work where I ya know GOT SHIT DONE.
Ugh finally...
I hate feeling this useless.
SO aside from the Drs neglecting to tell me that I have had a good amount of BLOOD in my urine for ohh...the last 6 months among other things i may actually sue some bitches over, things are going pretty well.
Problems are being solved, and things are moving forward again.
It isn't the end of all my problems, I still have the mental illness stuff, and the whole not knowing what I am like post op since I have been on pain meds since day 1. So we just don;t know honestly. But it must be better then the life I have been living (my personal day to day life) for the last 2 years.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Glad to be finally getting these commissions done. You all have NO idea how many days and nights I have stressed, cried, yelled and worked myself to the bone TRYING to fight this illness and pain and other random BS that I was subjected to only to STILL come up short and NOT be able to intact the work ethic I usually have.
For those of you that remember, I get..shit..DONE.
It is usually less then a week for me to get commissions finished..I am glad I can get back to that again. Really get my art back to where it should be. For myself as well as for all of you.
And you have my unyielding gratitude for your patience and understanding.
I will be making a large gift art piece for everyone as a thank you,. but I shan't say more lest I ruin the surprise :)
SO without further adue, here are some pics and a little bit of Video from Tuesday's performance.
Scroll through them all, just watch my piece, totally up to you all.
I am the one with the bluish Violet hair and in fishnet and a soda can top and blue corded belt. There are 2 video snippets (bout a min long) of my performance. The entire video will be posted as soon as I get the DVD.
So thank you all, and prepare to here more from me soon, and more importantly SEE more from me. More streaming, more art, and new commissions specials :)
Thank you all, Sincerely.
The journey isn;t over yet, but it;s getting there and I thank you for continuing to believe in me along the way.

FA+

I will be making a list soon and sending each commissioner I owe work to a note with the info, how far along I am, what I have done etc and how long it will take to finish.
I appreciate your patience SOOO Much, thank you.
It really does mean a lot, and I will make sure that shows through in your picture.
As I told Electricfox, I will be noting all my commissioners whom I still owe work with a full update and an eta. I will also make a list form longest to shortest, meaning the ones I got longer ago and are later will be finished first and the ones I got recently will be worked on secondary so that it's fair. But everything will get done probably by October at the latest if I had to guess.
*HUGS* So happy...
And yes I will be careful. I have been able to dance since 6 months after my surgery, so if nothing else my limits are going to increase, which could be...interesting.
I am just excited to going back to the way I USED to do art and commissions. Getting things DONE and not having ANYONE wait longer then a week. That will be probably the most meaningful day for me.
Limits increasing, working with fire... your next dance show will be CRAZY! :)
Wait till you see my most recent performance..I mean I know there is a small clip here, but it was a doozy and it was HARD I think I did well, so that's good, but it makes for harder work from here on out and I welcome that.
I am thinking about taking special Halloween Commissions for October since ya know..I will ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO GET SHIT DONE.
So that should be fun..
Maybe the $$ can go to my fire prop fund....
