If anyone ever reads my journals anymore, I have more news on our cat that got crushed by a garage door last year. She's fallen deathly ill, and while she is still alive for now she is on her deathbed. It's been over the last few days that this has happened, and now she is struggling to stay alive. For 18 long years we have had her, and I love her to death, but we have just decided it is best to have her put to sleep. I'm staying at home to receive some furniture that may arrive while mom and my sister are gone to have it taken care of. Still the pain of the loss is really terrible, especially after having her as a part of the family for so long.

Guess it's just one of those times when you want to curl up tightly and escape the world around you. :(
