I still belong. I might get a bit jaded from time to time, but I enjoy the company of people here more than I despair at it.

I think we all are feeling this as of late. I think its the shallowness of it all. Doesnt really help with the economy, and just trying to make ends meet, Just to be able to do it again the next day/week/month/....
Perhaps it will be a struggle just to survive come another 3 months or so. Enjoy what little you can while you can. Huggles ya and swishtails atcha.

Do any of us belong anymore? I'm pretty sure I don't. I agree with Bladehorse, the world has become a cheap, shallow place full of egomaniacs and narcissists and yes, even sociopaths (in the true psychological definition, not the Hollywood definition). We sit back and embrace all this new technology and never ask why... we never ask if we should develop it, it just is developed and the money flows. So perhaps it's with a wry smile I realized that the technology that unites us (this amazing worldwide network) is the very thing that is driving us all apart.

I think we were born at the wrong time, on the cusp of massive sociological change. Therefore, we don't fit in with our parent's generation, and yet the new generation is leaving us behind at an unprecedented rate. Welcome to Generation X. We fit in nowhere.
