So, here's how things are going with my art:

I've been obsessing over Ren Faire that is coming up next month. A good portion of my efforts is going towards that in most of my free time. My stuff is mostly done, but I still have my mate's to do.

Speaking of my mate, his computer needed a new hard drive recently and he wasn't able to save the drawing program we were working with before, so it's been trial and error finding another. Sketchbook is good for just that - sketches, and Corel Painter 12 is pretty, but it seems to have a lag problem. I'm getting frustrated with it. Unfortunately, I'm rather addicted to coloring digitally. It's something about the pureness of the colors, the fact that you can indeed go back and you aren't at the mercy of the scanner. However, I get frustrated easily and I don't want to deal with a laggy program. So the piece I've been working on for that might have to wait.

My job working as a cake decorator is stressful. We are under new management and quite frankly I don't have enough time between making things for the case and back-ups to do anything fun. Besides, we are short handed and every time I get a moment to breathe it's off to do something else, like bread or freight. I do have some images to upload - quite a few for that matter - but I don't really have the stamina right now to punch it all out.

On my fursuit mask.......that is going to be scrapped until further notice. I have basically mutilated it to the point where when/if I started again, the mask itself would be parts for the new prototype. It was a good learning experience and I'll probably keep fussing with it for a while to come. But as things stand now, don't wait up for this thing. It's history.

I think that's all I've got for now. I'm tired, even though I've had a little time off recently. There's a whole lot of change happening in my life right now and it has sucked all the energy from me. I hope that will change soon. Until then, love and kittens, friends.
