When I was 14, I had myself committed to a mental ward, mostly to escape my mother for a brief period. Then I discovered they wanted to take my clothes away and make me wear an assless hospital gown. It freaked me out, and when I refused, they sent a pack of eight steroid-enriched "orderly" goons to force me. I took five of them out. I was 4 feet 11 inches tall at the time (didn't hit puberty until 16), and I took out five 250+ pound guys before they managed to shoot me up with thorazine - which, as it turns out, I'm deathly allergic to. I'd almost be proud of that, except that, weeks later, I ran into one of those guys, and he flinched away from me, and looked scared, and it made me feel completely awful and out of control.
