I think they're trying to do some sort of blanket policy on Sonic fanart in general. Lazy mods are lazy. :/

Just because sonic characters are drawn sort of chibi-like, dosn't mean they're all kids. Most of them are in their late teens, that's an adult in many parts of the world.

Somebody should let the mods know that Rouge is 18... this is kind of ridiculous. Not EVERYONE from the Sonic series is underage.

I always heard Rouge was 18. Her voice was quite mature in both languages of the "Sonic X" series, as well as the games.

My point is... There's no point to censoring something that's already depicting things that are technically immoral/illegal. Fantasy is fantasy, art is art, porn/etc is just that. This is the internet, there're WAAAAY worse things on here.

There is a person who systematically searches for even slightly provocative Sonic art, and reports it.

To get pictures of Rouge deleted, they use a scan of the old instruction manual for Sonic Heroes which erroneously states that she is 17. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
