Politics and my view on it.

So I don't have many journals but I found this and was so disgusted I thought I would put something here. You assume that we have moved along, we are an evolving society and we pat our selfs on the back and say good job. We look at what is going around the world and thing "wow we are so much better". Then you see an article like this and you realize that we really are not all that much more evolved.

That's right. That is what they are implying. Sad and disgusting that someone used their judgement and thought that was ok. I'm not sure how free speech would come into play here but just the fact that someone thought that was ok is sad.

Stupid people are stupid. And there is an even chance that an Obama supporter did it just to stir up trouble. Nothing is as it appears in this campaign.

The problem with those people is that they are so steeped in white privilege and innate racism that they are quite often incapable of seeing that what they're saying or doing is racist. Look at any one of the erstwhile Republican presidential frontrunners from earlier this year, when they were called on some of the blatantly racist things they'd said or done, and the looks of genuine surprise and earnest assertions that they aren't racist.
