Well, I was holy the whole time I lved. I finally decided to go shadow so I can solo and get cahs for my epic mount. Doing it holy is like waterboarding. /cry

I think it depends primarily on your tendency for addiction. I mean Warcraft is engineered with soothing colours and mindless tasks to make you keep playing LOL Do you know a lot of people who have it?

I know -of- people having it. Not sure about personally how many, at least a small handful. But I'm not into PVP at all, I'm really a PVE guy. minor RP

I shudder at PVP. I actually enjoy playing it, but the IQ level on the PVP servers hurts my brain. So I tend to go for the RP PVP servers.

I dunno, I haven't had a problem except for the Barrens chat or when I've tested out Alliance. RP servers have always come across rather pretentious and snobby to me, so I haven't bothered to really give one a try. There's also the fact that I have an extremely difficult time being serious, so I don't know how a RP PvP server and I would mesh. Perhaps eventually, though.

LOL they may come across that way, but they're full of little kids too. People don't gank you as much on RPPVP though, that's why I liked that style. I hate being ganked by a 70 when I'm 20. Have some respect! LOL, but that's just me.

Hahaha, that's true.. I don't know why I imagine the RP PvP servers as some magical land where 30 and 40 year old women frolick. XD

LOL that would be hilarious, sadly it's mostly annoying children too. :D Though you can find some respectful adults there. I heard of people RPcybering in the blood elf town, lmfao.

I play on the Misha server, and my main toons are Horde, but I have a couple alliance as well... its a normal realm...

I have 10 toons, all horde on Runetotem (PVE), 10 toons, all alliance on Deathwing (PVP), and about 6-7 on Moonguard (RP).

Runetotem is Drama-tastic. Raiding on that server occurs, but not without massive backstabbing, flaming ruination of people's lives. It's really quite hilariously pathetic.

Deathwing is an AMAZING server. People are cheerful and supportive of each other, there's many raiding guilds (so there's less elitism) and weirdly enough, for a PVP server there's a lot of people who are perfectly willing to come be your bodyguard if you moan about the Horde ganking your ass somewhere.

Moonguard is another AMAZING server. There is active RP everywhere. Stormwind has several player-run bars, people are almost always in costume, and many poeple use their walk key nearly all the time. Hordeside, there are some truely amazing guilds - Shaman who hold raindances, Blood Elves who support Kael'thas (despite knowing what a jerk he is), and lots of interesting characters (including a large guild that when I was still there, was trying to crack the gates to AQ despite TBC.)

But I don't play anymore mostly because I got really bored with the game and my fiance stopped playing because he couldn't take the drama of Runetotem anymore.

Thanks for all the info! It's nice to hear about Deathwing though I seriously can't take the PVP servers. Trash talking kids are just something that drives me nuts when playing video games. Right now I have previous characters on Venture Co. (RPPVP) and Lothar (PVE). Unfortunately, I haven't heard of many overlapping realms from people so I'm not leaning toward anything, but picking back up on those. Lothar has a lot of stupid elitist crap going on at the high levels though maybe not on the horde side, I haven't tried the Horde there yet.

Just thinking about playing again since a good friend of mine decided to pick up the game.

I never found Deathwing to be a kiddie zone, really. It's an older server with a mature atmosphere. I mean sure you get punk-ganked once in a while just because you were there and so were they, but it's not like the snot flicking retardism that tends to be the massive snippity namecalling and backstabbing and storytelling about how soandso or such and such a guild is all full of elitist jerks in trade channel all day.

To me, that added fear of "omg, I'm in a contested zone, holy crap here some some horde!" is hella fun.

I find that if you have a witty name they may just point at you and demand you dance for them. XD

My priest, "Probablydead" seems to get a lot of demands for /dancing.

My fiance actually managed to get "Grendel" on Runetotem. That's probably why he'll never leave it, even though it's so damned Dramatastic. XP

And I gotta agree with Silverlynx, it's a very dramatastic server. But I've never been on any others.
