I go to both for some fun in doing what I love to do, this kind of things both the sites have that kill the fun, mostly the negatives you pointed out. I see where you're going with what you did there.

This is why I hope pixiv.com will be out of beta soon so I can move on over there where the community is nicer and the overall site is userfriendly.

Yeah :( just now my sister posted a picture of an inflatable elephant toy.
This guy comments as is like "Oh yeah this is against FA policy blahblahblah" causing drama everywhere on my sisters post, and I was like "why is it against the rules? she copyrighted the maker and its still related to the furry-fandom blahblah" he was just being uptight :( It was very mean that he said it on her profile and dint just note her about it. This is why I find DA discreet, if you break policy on FA people will note you about it, not blurt it out in a comment, thats just rude in my opinion.

Hence why I hope pixiv.com wasn't abandoned... you can still upload art there! Just nothing adult without having to use the japanese only side, pixiv.org instead. Which is why I haven't moved yet...

Unlike most people, I LIKE the simple layout of FA and the lack of a lot of features. DA kills me with all the damn little interactive things to screw up or lag out. Not to mention, it looks like more clusterfuck of features than art. I look at my DA for my watchlist once every month or so now, and there's always some new, useless crap in the way. So much useless stuff on profiles that make it ungodly to load if you're not fortunate enough to have great internet access. It's a memory hog and since I open a few things in new tabs at a time so they can be loading in the background, things bog down. The categories make me feel like I'm navigating a labyrinth blindfolded. In general, the people are ruder, and the front page is flooded with crappy fanart -- the popular page is flooded with good fanart -- but it's so much fanart... The ONLY things I like about DA are that some of my favorite artists post there and the fact that non-porn gets some recognition... if you're popular enough in the first place to be noticed. And that DA popularity issue has been discussed so many times, it's not worth repeating. Sorry, I just had to rant xD

I dint mention anything about layout :P but now that you bring it up.. Furaffinity looks like a 12 yearold did it, and admit it you think so to or else ya woudnt bring it up!

I never experienced lag on DA tho, and I have 0.30Mbps internet and a 200 dollar acer computer despite FA wich takes me 5 minutes to fully load a 500x500 image not to mention how long it takes me to try and upload a PNG image on here
