Well okay not everyone is as old as I am. I remember how when I was a kid I put it on layaway at K-Mart and did all sorts of jobs to earn the cash to get it. Sometimes I was cleaning up my grandparents' dog grooming store. Sometimes it was for chores around the house, sometimes it was for yard work in other folks yards or even making sure that other kids didn't mess up newly patched cement (three dollars for that).

When I got the SNES I played it fairly often. I still do and it's still fun.

So I found this video that honestly is pretty funny about how a group of parents back then were upset about the SNES. It's worth a look to see just what some folks will do and say (nothing vulgar but I did find myself repeating the line, "So.. slow news day?" a few times).
