Indeed. Unfortunately, as of today, the lead singer, Anette, has parted ways with the band due to events that took place at the Denver show. They are finishing off the tour with a replacement singer.

This is even more unfortunate, because on the day I went to the concert, Anette got sick, and had to go to the hospital, so I didn't even see her then. I will never be able to see Anette as part of Nightwish, despite seeing them twice in one tour. Very unfortunate, but it happened.

That's a little bit of a bummer D: But hey, if it makes you feel better I won't ever see my favourite band, The Beatles. I can only see 50% of the Beatles.. only one of which actually plays any Beatles songs anymore. ^^;

I've got one down- just gotta get to seeing the other one!

Haha, don't worry about it. I never got to see Nightwish when their singer was still this woman named Tarja. Now I missed the opportunity to see Anette. One fortunate thing, however, is that the replacement singer is actually someone I do like, and I do believe she will be a fantastic replacement. So, not all is lost. This tour will end, they will release their new movie, and then it will be on to the next era of Nightwish.

And it's sucks you'll never be able to see the Beatles as a full act.
You never had the opportunity to see them. The thing that sucks for me is I had the opportunity to see Nightwish twice before, once with Tarja, and once with Anette, but they weren't my favourite band at the time. Lost opportunity just really sucks, knowing what could have been, but never was.

How are you?

I don't really know whether never having had the opportunity to see the beatles as a full act was a good thing or not haha. Maybe- lost opportunity definitely does suck though. My grandparents had a 1964 mustang that I saw every day for years and years.. after deciding that I wanted to work on cars, right when I started getting into that they finally decided to sell it. I feel a knot in my stomach every time I think about that- not only because it was a cool car but because it was family history- they bought it new in 1964 and had owned it forever and had it restored a couple times through its life. I wish I'd had the opportunity to live through the 40s and 50s and 60s.

AND I BEEN ALRIGHT ;D RAMBLING'S GOOD. College is a lot more work than highschool but it's not really any harder so that's nice! It's eating up all my time though and when I get a moment of free time it's like I'm not sure what to do with myself so I just kind of sit on the couch and stare at the wall for a while or watch a movie. I guess that's how college is supposed to be because the things you used to do for enjoyment become the things you do for work and your hobbies become your work. Or maybe I'm just insane. I'm getting into another major though next semester haha
