So to my surprise I went to another con that wasn't Anthrocon!

Rainfurrest has come and gone for me(I left earlier Sunday), and I have to admit it resonated with me slightly different than AC did. It's hard to get that 'first feeling' again, so I don't think RF hit me the same speechless way, but it definitely reconfirmed that AC isn't the only con I can go to, to enjoy. I think though I should wrap it up into these segments.

Dance : Dance has become a very large part of my life, and recreation. I don't practice and harness it as much as I should to be competitive, but I got to do a few things this cone.

1. Participated in the fursuit dance competition. This whole thing was a big of a mess I think on both the staff, and my end. I did not have a song 'ready' until the night before I left on Thursday, so I just freestyled it.

There were a few hitches as well with finding people/information on how to sign up for the dance comp, where to line up, where to be, when to be there. In my haste I had my suit on early, and was waiting with the blood to my arms being restricted by the elastic, and It may have been my nerves, but I was having trouble breathing even with my head taken off. I didn't know when my turn was till 2 people before me, I also missed hearing the call out for all of us to head back out onto the stage, and I know it wasn't on purpose, but when did a sort of 'huddle' I was left out, and early on crowded by a lot of their friends talking bullshit as I was squeezed into a corner.

It was a giant mess, but I had to thank for dealing with the giant ball of stress (as well with everyone in the crew) who helped put it together, and I was super glad I got to participate. I had a LOT of support from my lovely friends. Too many to name, but you guys inspired me greatly, thank you.

2. The dances. Lots of fun. I ran into some issues I think with pushing myself too far causing my muscles to get extremely sore, sweating a profuse amount, and also causing some breathing issues maybe. I danced harder, and longer than I have ever in a session. Nero's 'must be the feeling' remixed by Delta Heavy, Watch Out!

Friends: This is going to be a 'maybe too many to count'.

Got to hang out with my girlfriend which was absolutely lovely. It was comforting, it was joyful, it was fun, it was glorious. Got to spend most of the con with her. Hopefully I didn't neglect others too much around her. Defiantly one of the highlights of the whole con. Went to the dance, partied, drew, laughed and generally had a good time.
Poor guy hurt his ankle early on in the dance and con, got to finally jam, and hang out with him which I haven't in a while. Wish it was more, always enjoy hanging out with you.
Got to hang out briefly in some placed, but the whole trip was made exquisitely easy thanks to him driving me down to the con. No hassle with luggage, fun road trip along with .
Too many others to mention regarding the shifting around, and trying to hang out, or just meet up briefly in the hallway onwards to else where when they were busy, but I want to give a special thank you to , , , , , , , , , and sorry if I missed anyone else. My memory is actually quite poor.

Amazing con. Would do again.
