Trying to lose weight
This school year has been pretty terrible for maintaining any kind of dietary regimen, so far, but I'm hoping to change that now. I'm hoping I could lose a few inches around the waist so by furfright, especially if I can get used to going to the gym more often, and restrict how much junk I eat.
I think my absolute biggest problem this year has been drinking soda more regularly, so I'm definitely cutting that out completely. FINGERS CROSSED I just wish I could have money rather than meal plans to feed myself, rather than relying on my schools unhealthy fried foods, or disenchanting, bland 'healthy' foods.

It really does suck that you're stuck on a meal plan, though, I've heard it causes a lot of students to gain weight.
I wish you the best of luck though! I really want to drop a few, too, so maybe we can share advice??
And yeah, it's really bad. The salad bar is always disappointing, and the lettuce is almost always bitter and soggy. The meals are either fried, pasta-heavy, or generally off-putting since they try to ad too much finesse to their preparations. Like, if you want to serve raviolis, you dont have to add zuchinni and lobster paste and shit like that to the sauce. They really do things inefficiently.
And You have such a cute body, though! I think you look wonderful, but if you still want to lose weight, then I support it! I wish I lived with you guys, since your food is always so incredibly healthy AND tasty.
EUGH I know exactly what you mean. Is there no possible way for you to cook for yourself? Some healthy meals are SO easy. I taught a buddy of mine to cook a ton of different meals with the same veggies and a hot plate.
Weh weh, thanks! I really appreciate that! I just reaally want to be able to fit back into my old pants. I put on a ton of weight since high school and I want to feel like I'm in my comfortable zone again, if that makes sense?? LIKE, I feel the same way about you, you're super good-lookin' BUT it's like a personal comfort thing for the person themselves and all.
I WISH YOU LIVED HERE. Come cook with us. Like. Fly over here three times a day for every meal. That's possible, right??
I'm hoping if i make it to FF I'm not as pudgy either lol, but who knows.
Fortunaely, I was waiting till at least lunch, but really, any soda is bad at any point in time during the day. Another bad one for me was drinking flavored milk the last few weeks almost daily.
And are you going to FF?? I'll look forward to seeing you there!
yeah, i'll have to run into ya if so c:
Also not being on a meal plan this year has caused me to loose like ten pounds. I gained a lot last semester because I was stressed and drinking coffee/soda 24/7. ); If you had a kitchen I'd say just go off the meal plan!! But yeah. If you're into tracking what you eat, myfitnesspal is a good app. You can scan in barcodes of food and it pulls up the nutrition like BAM!
Yeahhhh I wish it were possible to go off the meal plan, but without pots and pans, or a convenient public kitchen, its useless.
Ive been using FitDay which is basically just a food journal, but I like using the website because I can prescribe my next meal, and the inability to add or remove from it keeps me from eating too much else during that meal.
It's really a simple formula, and once you make it your habit it'll literally become easy to lose weight. Looking back at myself in high school, I didn't realize just how much weight I lost on that program (and I still ate the hell out of sugar). I was a total twig in the course of one year, when at the start I had a gut that prevented me from being able to see my wang.
I promise, it's like magic. I just really really wish I could help you in person.
And what program were you on? I know you've told me before about your impressive weight loss, but I didnt know you had a program.
And it would certainly be good to have you here to kick me and get me to do some in-room excersizes here and there. :\ I know you would be a really good motivator for me.
The trick to working out in your room is to give yourself a trigger. I used to put the TV on. Every time a commercial came on, I would work out. I also had a playlist in my iPod. Whenever a certain genre or artist would come on, I would work out. Little nickle&dime stuff will really make a difference. Especially when it comes to conditioning your habits to prefer physical activity. I got to the point where I couldn't sleep unless I did some sort of work out before I got into bed.
