Computer woes

Damn it, why now, after several years excellent and trouble free service my Dell laptop has turned a piece of crap. Its cooling fan has developed a short. My moderately fast computer is now seems like it is walking through a mud bog. Every frakking program or app takes about 20 years to boot up. Thanks to the computer woes, my broadband connection is now the same way. I really hate having to wait forever the web page to come up at home. So either I head over to a relative’s house or the library to use to surf the web.
Each in their own way is in pain in the ass; in both places, I have to wait my turn to use the computer. At my sister’s house, my nephew loves to play car games on the computer. Unfortunately, he is at that age that everything in his range of vision is his and no one can use it until he is finished or sneak on the computer while he grabs a bite to eat; which means I can only use it for a few minutes. That is the same problem I have at the local library; getting message saying that your thirty minutes are just about up.
Therefore, in the meantime, I took the Dell to a repair shop. The tech ran the machine all-night and found nothing wrong with the cooling fan. Luckily, checking out the Inspiron did not cost me anything, unlike my Gateway computer that cost me$ 60.00 to find out that its system board blew. I thought at time I was lucky at the time but in the back of my mind, I just knew the fan would break down again.
On one of the hottest days in August it did the computer‘s ambient temperature got so high and to save itself, it close itself down. Since a Staple’s is near my place, so I took it that. The tech person at Staples said that they could fix everything that was broken on the computer for a fee of $400.00. Like classic cartoon character, my jaw hit the floor. I told him that I would think about it.
Then I realized with a little more money I could get an updated computer than spending a hell a lot of money getting a five-year-old computer fixed. I am sure that will I not buy a tablet such as IPad, I leaning toward not getting another laptop. The main reason why I got a laptop well was limited space n my room but since the computer never travel anywhere, the Dell took the place of a desktop and maybe I getting tired of this type of PC. Maybe I should buy a desktop, it will be difficult but I can make some room for it or I could get an all-one, it will take just as much space as my old laptop. This is the reason why I have not been to active online for last few months. Now, I need to decide on what of computer I truly need.
