Shade and Sweet Water to you all! I'm Leetah Kinseeker and I'm part of the group working hard to organize the first ever ElfQuest convention here in the United States! We've got a lot of work to get things off the ground and we're always looking for help. We're thinking about holding the event on the east coast (where Richard Pini and the key organizer reside) and are currently looking for venues to hold it. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them our way at:

Currently, we need help managing a few of the online pages we run, particularly the DeviantArt group page:

If you have a DeviantArt account and a few moments to spare throughout the week, we could use help sorting through submitted images as well as searching the site to add images to the group.
We could also use a bit of help updating the Blogger page, so if you're interested, please let us know.
What we need (perhaps the most) is event planners and organizers for the convention itself. We're trying to get it going in the year 2014 (there's a lot of planning that needs to happen) and we're hoping to get some help to that end. If you know of a small or upcoming convention...or even an established one that's wouldn't mind the request of assistance...we'd love a partnership with them. Or, if some of the staff can just give us a few pointers, that would be really helpful. If you're an event planner or have volunteered for conventions or just want to help out, we'd love to have you on board.
As always, you can help us out a ton by simply spreading the word. Repost this journal, if you like, or direct people our way. That would be a big help. If you'd like us to repost your artwork or stories on the group page, please send us a note with a link to your image and we'll be happy to repost.
