Webcomics! great webcomics!
Hey guys! quick update on my life: I just spent a motherload of money on getting pictures and photos from this last year printed, some of which are of my nephew, to send to my grandparents who are rather out of the loop due to dial-up internet (yes, that still exists, sadly) connection and old age. XD and other than that, I'm just drawing, working, eating, sleeping.....yeah. that's about it. :3
If you guys want to see my sketches and other random things I don't upload to my DA, please sally forth to my Tumblr! http://godessfae.tumblr.com/
Unsounded: It's amazing. and breaks the fourth wall. read it!
kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects.....comic-volume-1
:3 here's a link to read the webcomic: http://www.casualvillain.com/Unsounded/comic+index (which I highly suggest- It's entertaining, brilliant, and gives me many feels)
If you can, help! :D Promoting helps get the word out :3
Now, if you are interested in other webcomics, let me direct you to a few that are quite good:
Phoenix Requiem (finished) : http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/ Has glorious glorious OUTSTANDING art! If you don't like anything creepy at all (like zombies) don't read it :3 It's not overly creepy though. I just like to add disclaimers so people don't get mad at me XD anyone over the age of 12 should be okay, but it has been a while since I've read it.
This artist also has a finished webcomic Inverloch - find it here: http://inverloch.seraph-inn.com/
This one has 'furry' characters as well as humans, magicians, elves.....it's good.
Dream*Scar: http://www.dream-scar.net/?id=1 interesting, and has pretty art :3 there is some blood n' stuff [though it's not excessive], so if you are super squeaky-clean or have problems with anything like that, you probably shouldn't read it. WARNING! It is currently on hiatus since the artist is about to have a baby! so if you don't want to have to wait, start reading it later I guess.
Dreamless (finished?): http://dreamless.keenspot.com/d/200.....tmlillustrated by the same artist as Phoenix Requiem, but written by someone else.
My cardboard life: a fun silly strip by strip comic that I like to look at for some laughs and to brighten up my day :3 http://mycardboardlife.com/3022
Pot luck comics: I particularly love the 'sucks to be weegie' and 'ensign sue must die' as well as 'wookie-ookies' I haven't read all the different ones they have, though.
http://www.interrobangstudios.com/p.....p?strip_id=941
Spindrift: http://www.spindrift-comic.com/comic.php?page=0 amazing beautiful art and intriguing world/storyline. There is some nudity during one of the flashbacks, so I'm warning you now if you think you're too young, don't wanna see it, etc.
Crankrats: the art is nowhere near the amazing-ness of phoenix requiem and some of these others, but the storyline is good, the characters are fun, and the expressions are priceless. :3 steampunk themed. http://crankrats.com/archives/archive/chapter-1
I think she updates DA more often, though: http://crankrats-webcomic.deviantart.com/
Lackadaisy cats: http://www.lackadaisycats.com/comic.php?comicid=1 Freakin' hilarious! the art is lovely as well :3 and I just adore the characters!
Carciphona: http://blackbird.ashen-ray.com/view.....&chapter=1 pretty art, cool story. Used to be called Blackbird, I believe.
And last, but not least, Darths and Droids. http://www.darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0001.html It's so funny I had to get a surgery on my tummy because I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard (okay, not really, but still). If Star wars was created by a D&D group. IT EXPLAINS SO MUCH, ACTUALLY. a 'comic' where they took screenshots of the starwars movie and added their own dialogue. now guys, when I first read this I had never played D&D before, ever. I still found it freakin' hilarious. so just roll with it if that's what you are apprehensive about. heh. roll with it....see what I did there? XD ...*facepalm*
If you want manga/anime suggestions, ask! I have plenty :3
so I posted this journal to my DA forever ago, but thought I'd post it here too!
