How much did he sell for? People can come into your office to look for art, or are they there for work?

I'm trying to get myself set up as an artist while looking for work, so I'm hoping for any leg up I can muster ;p

Heh, I sold my Squid for $80.00 US and people come in my office for the work...but I have my art all over the place and I've sold quite a lot of art privately like that. No commission fees or space rental fees at the local gallery! I love my local gallery and I've sold a couple of pieces there, but by the time I pay their commission...there is not much left for the bird! :) Plus I have done about 4 commissions for people that have seen my work, so it's the gift that keeps on giving. Got another commish today as a matter of fact, but there's no way I'll have it done by Xmas and I told her that. I've got two works in progress and more on the way. The only thing that I lack...is time. X)

That's awesome to hear that you made another sale.

It's kinda freaking me out, gator. I was kinda in a low artistically thinking "man, I just have NO imagination"...but then WHAM! Sold me some and people like my stuff and I'm humbled by that. They are going to be hanging my art on their walls and a piece of me will go on. I'm not sure I could ask for more than that. :)
