So the other day i learned about Clipping layers. (Why have i never learned about it before?!) Takes half the time to color and shade than normal. Which is pretty much awesome. I should look into more easy ways to do things in art programs.. PSP8... How i miss thee!
I need to stop fussing over stupid stuff, cause when i do, it makes it more... stupid looking.
I should really stop caring of a stupid /line/ is wrong and just go with it.
I need to take pictures for references..

I fuss over the smallest things and need to relax about it.
Yesterday and the day before I ate so much candy I was surprised i didn't get sick. Then I remembered why I didn't get sick. Ha... Me and my chocolate! <3 (You females shall get the joke!) I really hate the few days before it, because for some reason I have a bottomless pit for a stomach and can't help myself from eating. Good thing I resort to fruit when i have that urge.

Oh! And new icon for halloween! Ew.. i just noticed the colors pixelated... O Well! I'm not gonna fuss about it! She was going to be a ninja, but nah. Then I was going to make her something else, but what'evs! She be half ninja without her face mask!

yeah. I feel ya on the nitpicky thing. in order to try to curb that tendency I started doing speed drawing and painting. you should try it. it helps. you just pick a subject and set a time like 15 mins. then you fly through the drawing and coloring. it forces you to focus on the big picture instead of little details. it forces you to focus on the important parts of the picture. it also helps when coloring to start with the blanket basics and work up to details by a layering process. like get all the base colors down, then do the basic shadows, then the really dark shadows, highlights, etc. those are just some things that helped me.
